This travelling fellowship is targeted to early-career surgeons already successfully operating in the following countries*:
- France.
- United Kingdom.
- Germany and Austria.
- Italy.
- Spain.
- Belgium, The Netherlands and Luxemburg.
*subject to modifications
The successful applicant should have one-year pre- to three years post-national surgical qualifications and should be able to fully correspond in English and be fluent in the language of the host centre country.
In order to submit an application, the following documents together with the completed application form are kindly requested to be submitted:
- Copy of applicant’s MD license.
- CV.
- Motivation Letter.
- References.
- Publication history to date.
The CV should include at least the following information:
- Country where currently practicing.
- Your interaction with robotics to date and/or non-robotic relevant consideration.
- Age and experience.
- Surgery examination grades.
- Teaching center of origin.
The Motivation Letter (max 500 words) should include:
- Current level of surgery skills and expertise in robotics, if any.
- Dedication to hip and knee replacement surgery.
- Your reasoning on how this robotic fellowship will improve your surgery skills and patient outcomes.
