EFORT FOUNDATION MISSION
EFORT Foundation is a non-profit organization which primary mission is to promote science and research in the fields of orthopaedics and traumatology in order to make progress in the treatment of musculoskeletal disorders and injuries.
The overall aim of the Foundation is:
“To improve the level of orthopaedic and traumatological care throughout Europe by supporting knowledge exchange and training. Furthermore, public awareness regarding the importance of research in the development of new surgical technologies and products should be increased.”
EFORT FOUNDATION VISION
The financial support for research and education to be given to surgeons and researchers includes grants for research projects, fellowships for short-, medium- and long-term visits as well as for congress visits.
The EFORT Foundation vision is:
“Our vision is that EFORT Foundation is a preferred partner for funding research in the field of musculoskeletal diseases and injuries in Europe and the organisation to give substantial support to many major projects in this area”.
